Family Support Specialists

The Family Support Specialist initiates and maintains intensive, long-term home visitation services to overburdened families with pregnant individuals or children from birth to 5 years old. This role focuses on establishing trusting relationships, developing individualized service plans, and providing parent education to strengthen the parent-child relationship and promote healthy child development. The specialist works as part of a team to engage families, administer assessments, and connect them with community resources to mitigate child maltreatment risks.
