About this role

A Field Project Engineer-Data Centers at Generac is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction on all levels of project execution by providing remote & on-site project management, technical support, installation, and sales support of industrial power generation equipment.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of the project scope definition and objectives according to the assigned project type and complexity
Prepare overall project schedule based on scope of work and work plan
Track & perform project deliverables against contract in order to meet commitments & timeframe
Provide consistent project updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating deliverables

Skills

Qualifications

BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience10 years of relevant experience in power generation equipment installation and operationsWillingness to travel domestic 25% to 50% of the timePrior experience with the tools and terminology using in basic project management tasks (SOW, Gantt, RASIC, etc.)
