About this role

Scout Space is seeking a Financial Controller to own the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of its accounting function. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the role will manage external bookkeeping relationships, build accounting infrastructure, and develop internal controls to support a fast‑growing, government‑facing space company.

Responsibilities

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
Manage external bookkeeping relationship and transition accounting in‑house
Ensure compliance with government contract accounting requirements
