Fire Prevention Division

This position performs prevention duties including fire code enforcement, business fire and life safety inspections, compliance investigations, and public education. It is responsible for following up on all inspections and complaints, providing information to establish sound preplanning, and supporting the department's effort to enforce reasonable standards to prevent fires and protect the community. The role involves conducting inspections, resolving complaints, ensuring operational readiness of fire protection systems, and providing public education on fire prevention and homeland security essentials.
