About this role
The Forecasting Intern at AccuWeather will work onsite with Storm Warning Meteorologists at the AccuWeather Severe Weather Center in Wichita, Kansas during the summer of 2026. This paid, roughly 10-week full-time internship (approximately 40 hours/week) offers hands-on exposure to operational forecasting and professional development through trainings and mentorship. Interns will also have opportunities to virtually shadow other AccuWeather forecasting teams and gain insight into how weather impacts business-to-business logistics.
