About this role

Verkor is seeking a Formation Process Engineer to join its Process Development team at the Gigafactory in Bourbourg, France. The role focuses on developing and optimizing battery cell formation, charge/discharge, degas, and measurement processes to support SOP and ramp‑up phases. The engineer will work on improving safety, quality, and productivity of lithium‑ion battery manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Conduct R&D to improve battery cell formation processes
Analyze electrical performance data to assess formation equipment effects
Provide engineering support and perform root cause analysis for manufacturing issues
