About this role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will lead end-to-end physics-based simulations for advanced manufacturing customers, embedding directly with their teams to optimize complex physical processes. You will collaborate with internal ML and research teams to integrate simulation outputs with automated recipe generation while iterating on model fidelity and tooling. This role requires owning the technical workflow from problem definition to deployed results, with significant on-site time spent in Taiwan.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end simulation workflows for customer engagements
Build and debug complex physics-based simulations of multiphase flows
Collaborate with customer engineering teams to translate process knowledge
Partner with ML teams to integrate simulation outputs with recipe generation
Develop and extend Python-based simulation tooling and automation pipelines

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldGraduate-level research experience preferredBackground in computational simulation tools
