Forward Deployed Engineers at P-1 AI lead full-cycle customer deployments for their AI agent, Archie, by designing end-to-end solutions and integrating systems into real-world engineering environments. This role involves collaborating with customers to translate challenges into AI use cases, fine-tuning models in production, and resolving critical issues in live projects.
P-1 AI is building Archie, an AI engineer agent for the physical world designed to function at the level of a junior mechanical and electrical engineer, with quantitative multiphysics intuition and the ability to use complex engineering tools. The company trains custom AI models using proprietary semi-synthetic training datasets and structured design representations to keep AI models on-task in executing engineering work. P-1 AI is currently working with design partners in data center engineering and expanding to automotive, aerospace & defense, with the goal of placing an Archie on every engineering team at every major industrial company.
