About this role

Trafigura is hiring a Forward Deployment Engineer to embed directly with business stakeholders, leading the full technical lifecycle of product deployments from discovery to production. This hands-on role includes building bespoke integrations, orchestrating agentic AI workflows, and owning live production environments for domain-specific tools and lightweight applications. The engineer acts as a bridge between IT and the business, translating prototypes into scalable, secure systems within the enterprise stack.

Responsibilities

Embed with business teams to translate prototypes into production-grade applications
Architect and build custom integrations, APIs, and data pipelines
Design and orchestrate agentic AI workflows using frameworks like LangGraph
Own end-to-end deployment operations including troubleshooting and monitoring
Collaborate with IT Security and Compliance to enforce identity and access controls
