Foundational Literacy Coach

The Foundational Literacy Coach facilitates and assists pre-k-3 teachers in increasing student performance on early literacy skills through scientifically based reading instruction and technical assistance. The role involves integrating Arizona's ELA and Early Learning Standards, utilizing data from formal and informal assessments, and providing professional development to improve daily literacy instruction and intervention. This position supports teachers in implementing effective, evidence-based reading practices to ensure students meet age and grade level literacy expectations by the end of 3rd grade and beyond.
