About this role
Gallaudet University is seeking a Freelance Interpreter to support Gallaudet Interpreting Service (GIS) by providing communication access for the university community and the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center. The role is a long-term temporary, hourly position reporting to the Operations Manager, with variable hours up to 40 per week and potential overtime. Continued engagement is expected to maintain active status, with eligibility for health benefits at 32+ hours per week.
