Freight Conductor

A Freight Conductor is responsible for safely coordinating train crews, placing rail cars for loading and unloading, and making up or breaking down trains in rail yards or customer facilities. The role requires ensuring compliance with railroad safety rules and Federal Railroad Administration regulations while operating locomotive equipment and maintaining communication with dispatchers and customers. New hires undergo paid training and are eligible for retention bonuses upon completing their first and second years of service.
