About this role
The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is hiring a Group Exercise Instructor-Level I to lead land and/or water group fitness classes at the Andrew & Walter Young Family YMCA. The position supports the YMCA’s mission in education, wellness, youth development, and community-building and reports to the Wellness Director. This is an entry-level role focused on delivering YMCA group exercise programming and upholding organizational values.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- YMCA/ACE Group Exercise Certification (or equivalent)

- Y‑Metro Atlanta Water Fitness Specialty Course
- AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional (AFP) Certification
- CPR/AED Certification
- THE COACH APPROACH Orientation
- Background Check
- Drug Screening
- Legal Work Authorization
