The Group Exercise Instructor-Level II leads YMCA group exercise classes, handling music selection, class setup, and participant education on fitness and the COACH APPROACH®. Reporting to the Wellness Director, the role ensures classes run smoothly, maintains required certifications, and supports YMCA’s mission of community health and wellness.

Responsibilities

Conduct group exercise classes
Select and manage class music
Log class attendance in GroupEx PRO
Maintain certifications and continuing education
Ensure safety and incident reporting
