Head Accountability Mechanism

The Head Accountability Mechanism establishes and leads the OPEC Fund’s independent accountability mechanism for project-affected people to raise concerns and seek remedy. The role oversees two complementary functions: dispute resolution/problem-solving and compliance review/investigation, ensuring independence, accessibility, and transparency. This position is responsible for designing governance arrangements, managing investigations, facilitating dispute resolution, and conducting stakeholder outreach to strengthen development outcomes.
