Head of Engineering

WellTheory is seeking its first Head of Engineering to lead a talented, largely self-directed team and set the technical direction, processes, and quality standards for building the member app, in-house tools, and insurance infrastructure. This player-coach role involves spending 20-30% of time in the codebase while leading the team, shaping the platform, and partnering with product, design, and leadership. The position requires a leader with experience in scaling teams and building in regulated environments like healthcare or fintech.
