The Head of Powertrain leads the powertrain engineering function at Gordon Murray Automotive, overseeing the design, development, calibration, and global regulatory certification of low-volume, high-performance automotive powertrain systems. This role ensures that every powertrain system aligns with the company's core philosophies of low mass, driving perfection, and engineering art while delivering exceptional quality and driver engagement. The position involves navigating niche-market regulations across the EU, UK, US Federal, and California markets to support the production of ultra-low-volume sports cars.
