Housing Specialist

The Housing Specialist assists chronically homeless individuals and families in York Region to obtain and maintain appropriate accommodation through ongoing case management. The role involves procuring housing via landlord engagement, providing housing retention supports, and facilitating critical time intervention case management. Responsibilities include housing searches, application assistance, landlord mediation, and ensuring participants meet their financial and property responsibilities.
