About this role

The Human Resources Assistant provides senior-level administrative support for complex HR functions and staff appointment lifecycles within the VP Academic & Provost portfolio. Key duties include managing recruitment, onboarding, promotions, leaves, and terminations while maintaining data integrity in Workday and supporting the HR team with policy interpretation and client service.

Responsibilities

Coordinate full-cycle HR tasks including recruitment and onboarding
Maintain data integrity and update employee demographics in Workday
Support staff appointments, promotions, and leave management
Interpret collective agreements and HR policies for client departments
Prepare and review monthly HR reports and action items

Qualifications
