Indigenous Support Worker

The Indigenous Support Worker provides culturally grounded, trauma-informed support to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis patients and families at the Health Sciences Centre Adult Emergency Department Community Hub. This role serves as a bridge between Indigenous relatives, healthcare providers, and community services to assist with navigation, discharge planning, and access to ongoing support. The position aims to improve patient experience, reduce emergency department length of stay, and strengthen connections to community-based resources.
