Information Assurance Specialist

The Information Assurance Specialist supports the NETCOM COMSAT/MILSAT Services Regional Hub Node by maintaining security accreditation requirements and ensuring compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework standards. This role involves executing verification methods for NIST 800-53 security controls, managing POA&M items in eMASS, and providing independent assessments to achieve Authority to Operate status. The position requires collaboration with Army customers and partner organizations while maintaining current knowledge of industry best practices.
