The Information Systems Security Manager leads the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle for defense systems, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 and DoD standards. This role involves developing authorization packages, coordinating with security officials to adjudicate risk, and providing cybersecurity briefings to senior leadership. The position requires deep expertise in classified environments and multi-system portfolio management to protect national security interests.

Responsibilities

Lead RMF lifecycle activities from system categorization through ATO
Develop and maintain authorization packages for classified systems
Coordinate with SCA and AO representatives to resolve security findings
Assess technical risk and provide recommendations to government Cyber leads
Conduct internal compliance assessments and prepare for inspections

Active TS/SCI security clearanceMaster's Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or EngineeringDoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III or IAM Level II/III certificationCISSP certification preferred
