About this role

An Information System Security Officer (ISSO) will support enterprise network systems in a secure DoD environment focusing on Cisco-based infrastructure. The role involves managing cybersecurity compliance, Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, vulnerability management, and authorization sustainment. This position requires close collaboration with network engineers and cybersecurity staff to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and operationally effective.

Responsibilities

Support cybersecurity compliance, risk management, and continuous monitoring for enterprise systems.
Review and validate security configurations for Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
Conduct and validate vulnerability scans using ACAS and Tenable Nessus tools.
Develop and maintain RMF documentation including SSPs and POA&Ms.
Support authorization package development and sustainment activities.
