About this role

As an Infrastructure Engineer focused on On-Prem Systems at Lumafield, you will own the system that brings Voyager, our CT data platform, inside the customer's own walls. This hands-on, in-person role involves designing, prototyping, and production engineering robust edge compute solutions for defense and air-gapped programs. You will decide hardware specifications, ensure high performance, and hand off designs to Manufacturing for production.

Responsibilities

Design standalone high-performant On-Prem systems including compute nodes and storage topology
Prototype and profile system performance by benchmarking throughput and network bandwidth
Harden appliances for customer sites with encryption and network segmentation policies
