The Inspector conducts thorough in-process and non-destructive testing (NDT) of railcars, identifying required repairs and ensuring all documentation complies with U.S. and Canadian regulations. This role carries full authority to stop work on railcars or components pending issue resolution and ensures all maintenance and inspection activities are completed according to governing standards. The position requires maintaining accurate inspection records and verifying that cars are properly secured and approved for release.
