Inspector/Plans Examiner

This position involves inspecting the construction of new and existing buildings and reviewing permit applications, building plans, and construction documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, plans, and specifications. The role requires interpreting and enforcing federal, state, and local codes, coordinating inspection activities, and providing technical assistance to applicants. Inspectors investigate structural damage, determine inspection pass/fail status, and maintain detailed records of all activities and violations.
