About this role
The Civil Rights Memorial Center intern at the Southern Poverty Law Center supports the Center’s community engagement, outreach, and museum experience activities while gaining practical experience in civil rights public education. The role is intended for students committed to civil rights and public interest work and reports to the Manager, Museum Experience in Montgomery, Alabama. Interns will work on-site and participate in program and outreach initiatives, visitor engagement, and general museum operations.
