The role supports the US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES‑X) program by maintaining service availability for multiple servers across global data centers and remote locations. Responsibilities include managing infrastructure functionality, security, and efficiency, applying DISA STIG settings, creating documentation, mentoring team members, and potentially supervising a small team while handling on‑call and deployment duties.
