Language Acquisition Specialist/Communication Specialist / Certified Deaf Interpreter

The Chimes School is seeking a Language Acquisition Specialist/Communication Specialist / Certified Deaf Interpreter to provide individualized communication and educational support to a student with specialized communication needs. The role involves facilitating effective communication using American Sign Language (ASL) and tactile ASL, interpreting classroom instruction, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. The specialist will adapt instructional materials and assist with personal care needs to ensure meaningful student participation in classroom and school activities.
