Equal Rights Advocates (ERA) is a national civil rights nonprofit dedicated to protecting and expanding economic and educational opportunities for women, girls, and gender-expansive people. ERA uses impact litigation, policy advocacy, and community education to challenge discrimination in workplaces and schools — including pregnancy and parental rights, sexual harassment, pay equity, and access to reproductive health and education. The organization represents clients, brings strategic lawsuits, develops model policies, and partners with community groups and lawmakers to win systemic reforms and enforcement.
