Lead Airframe Design Engineer — CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE

The Lead Airframe Design Engineer leads hands-on airframe mechanical design under the CTO, owning aircraft geometry, structural arrangement, design decisions, and design-package quality. The role involves leading concept and detailed design trades, creating and reviewing 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA parts, surfaces, assemblies, and drawings, and directing and mentoring the Airframe Design Engineer. The position also includes integrating Loads, Stress, and Materials findings into design changes, coordinating propulsion, battery, folding, and landing/road-system installation interfaces, and supporting prototype builds to resolve design issues. The role delivers controlled releases with design rationale and requires hands-on development and integration work with coordinated Eagle Field visits.
