About this role

As a Lead Software Engineer on the AI Studio team at HighLevel, you will drive the technical direction for an AI-driven application builder that generates production-ready websites and React applications from natural language. This hands-on individual contributor role involves designing scalable LLM pipelines, orchestrating complex workflows for content and domain generation, and mentoring engineers to deliver high-performance user experiences. You will partner with product and infrastructure teams to build fault-tolerant systems that handle millions of applications and billions of daily interactions.

Responsibilities

Own architecture and scaling decisions for core AI Studio platform components
Build scalable, fault-tolerant LLM pipelines for content generation and layout creation
Design distributed systems handling high-throughput generative and analytical workloads
Drive improvements in observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions to promote technical excellence
