About this role

As the Lead Sales Engineer for Microsoft, you will lead technical execution for advanced data center and interconnection solutions across Equinix's Platform for one of the company's most significant hyperscaler accounts. This role requires overseeing end-to-end design, coordinating with global teams, and acting as the primary subject matter expert for complex, multi-region infrastructure deployments tailored to Microsoft's evolving AI and compute needs.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design and technical pursuit for strategic hyperscaler accounts
Serve as the subject matter expert for complex data center and AI infrastructure solutions
Collaborate with Account Executives to define requirements and drive revenue targets
Develop comprehensive architecture diagrams and solution walkthroughs for global stakeholders
Manage custom design service engagements including build-to-suit solutions
