Pregnancy Justice
Pregnancy Justice is seeking a summer 2027 legal intern to support the organization's legal and policy teams in New York. The role involves contributing to litigation support, legal research, policy advocacy, and legislative analysis within a dynamic non-profit environment. Interns will work under the supervision of legal fellows and staff attorneys to advance the organization's mission of defending the civil and human rights of pregnant people.
Pregnancy Justice is a U.S.-based advocacy and legal organization that advances and defends the rights of pregnant people—whether they give birth, experience a pregnancy loss, or have an abortion. It uses strategic litigation, policy advocacy, research, and public education to challenge laws and practices that criminalize or restrict pregnancy-related decision‑making. Pregnancy Justice partners with communities, legal advocates, and policymakers to build equitable, evidence‑based protections and hold systems accountable. People turn to the group for rights‑centered expertise, intersectional approaches, and focused campaigns to preserve reproductive autonomy and justice.
