Legislative Assistant

This role provides comprehensive legislative, research, administrative, and public relations support to New Castle County Council members and the Office of the Clerk of Council. The position involves analyzing and drafting legislation, managing constituent communications, and ensuring compliance with council rules and public records requirements. The incumbent works under the general supervision of the Council member(s) and the Clerk of Council to facilitate the legislative process and office operations.
