Lifeguard

This position supports the YMCA's mission by maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool and surrounding areas while creating a positive atmosphere for member engagement. The role involves active surveillance of the pool, addressing member concerns, and assisting with swim lessons and deck supervision as needed. The employee is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety rules, emergency procedures, and state Health Department codes to protect all individuals in the aquatic environment.
