Lifeguard

This role is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, on the deck, and surrounding areas while creating a positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement. The position requires active surveillance of the aquatic environment, adherence to all safety rules and emergency procedures, and the ability to respond immediately to any incidents. The role also involves performing equipment checks, chemical testing, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with YMCA and state Health Department standards.
