Lifeguard

The Lifeguard role focuses on ensuring safety through active surveillance and quick decision-making while providing excellent customer service to members and participants. The position involves enforcing rules tactfully, building relationships, and maintaining a safe aquatic environment in accordance with YMCA policies. Lifeguards are also responsible for equipment checks, chemical testing, and responding to emergencies as needed.
