Lifeguard

This role involves maintaining active surveillance of the pool area and ensuring the safety of all patrons by enforcing aquatic safety rules and policies. The position requires responding to emergency situations immediately, performing chemical testing, and maintaining accurate records as required by the YMCA and state health department. The ideal candidate must be physically and mentally ready to perform lifeguard skills and remain alert to observe their assigned zone of responsibility.
