About this role
The Life in Community (LinC) volunteer role at Wellways provides short-term, one-to-one in-person support to people experiencing mental health challenges to strengthen their connection with local communities. Volunteers are matched with participants to support engagement in everyday activities that reflect the participant’s interests and goals, with matches typically lasting up to three months and meetings occurring weekly or fortnightly. The program is delivered across multiple Australian states as part of Wellways’ national mental health and community services work.
