About this role

Harris is seeking an experienced Office 365 Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and Azure AD within their Corporate IT team. The role involves architecting mail flow, managing security and compliance policies, automating workflows via PowerShell, and serving as a Tier 3/4 escalation point for complex incidents. This position requires deep expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystems to support Public Sector, Schools, Utilities, and Healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

Lead design and administration of Exchange Online within Microsoft 365 tenant
Architect and manage end-to-end mail flow including connectors and DNS records
Configure and tune Exchange Online Protection and Microsoft Defender policies
Develop PowerShell automation scripts for user lifecycle and compliance reporting
Administer Microsoft Teams messaging, meeting policies, and Teams Rooms devices
