About this role
The Market Strategy Consultant will support the IRC’s New Roots Food and Agriculture program in Charlottesville to strengthen market access and business capacity for beginning refugee and immigrant farmers. This short-term consultancy (Dec 2025–Dec 2026, ~130 hours) is focused on scaling the local food economy, increasing farmer sales, and improving food security for low-income consumers. The role works closely with program staff to inform program strategy and deliver tools and training for participating producers.
