This master thesis supports the development of stable and resilient microgrids through experimental investigations, focusing on the mutual interactions between an electric powertrain and a microgrid. The role involves developing a back-to-back motor-generator setup and formulating test plans to study the transient response of the powertrain and microgrid under various disturbance scenarios. It requires a curious mindset and an open-minded approach to both theoretical considerations and hands-on laboratory work.
