MDS LVN

The MDS Coordinator coordinates the nursing aspects of RAI MDS, HCFA Medicare, DADS, and RMHP programs, including patient screening, documentation, and certification for continued stay. This role involves monitoring patient assignments to Resource Utilization Groups (RUGs), collaborating with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, and ensuring accurate clinical reporting and coding. The position requires maintaining ongoing MDS schedules and working closely with the Business Office Manager to coordinate patient services and payment categories.
