Meat Science Laboratory Technician

The Meat Science Laboratory Technician oversees the processing of beef, pork, and lamb carcasses and maintains the sanitation of the Meat Laboratory. This grant-funded position involves fabricating carcasses into standard cuts, processing various meat products, and assisting with lab demonstrations for teaching, research, and extension programs. The role requires maintaining HACCP, SOPs, and food safety records, as well as equipment and facilities.
