Mental Health and Corrections Collaborative Position

This position promotes diversion from the criminal justice system for individuals better served in mental health outpatient treatment while facilitating collaboration between mental health and corrections in Wyandotte County. The role involves coordinating post-release clinical care, tracking court processes, and facilitating record sharing to ensure treatment continuity. It also includes attending Probate Court daily to assist with court-ordered treatment processes and providing recommendations related to Assisted Outpatient Treatment orders.
