Mentor (DSP/1:1 support staff)

Advocates is seeking a creative and compassionate Mentor to support a gifted young woman with a developmental disability in developing independent living, communication, and social skills. The role involves providing person-centered support, utilizing positive redirection techniques, and assisting with behavioral challenges while maintaining a calm and encouraging approach. This position offers shadowing opportunities prior to the start date to ensure a smooth transition.
