Monitor Tech

The Monitor Tech performs indirect care in the department setting, primarily monitoring cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors and facilitating communication needs. The role involves transcribing physician orders, verifying lab and radiology tests, preparing patient records, and ordering supplies for the unit. In the ICU, the position may also assist nursing staff with indirect patient care duties or provide direct patient care under RN supervision if qualified.
