About this role
The Surgical Assistant provides intra-operative support to surgeons in a multi-specialty perioperative setting, assisting with procedures across disciplines including general, orthopedic, neurology, and ophthalmology. The role requires knowledge of human anatomy, surgical techniques (including suturing and instrument use), and maintaining aseptic technique to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The SA works with neonate through geriatric populations and participates in pre- and post-case activities as part of the operating room team.
