MSc Student Internship – In Vitro Diagnostic System Development (12 month fixed term contract)

A student intern joins the System Development team at QIAGEN Manchester to perform functional tests of qPCR, dPCR, and NGS instrumentation, plastics, software, and chemistry. The role supports the development of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products used in clinical laboratories worldwide. Participants will gain insights into ISO 13485 compliant development processes and laboratory life-cycle management. This part-time position is ideal for MSc students starting in Autumn 2026 seeking real-world experience in IVD technology.
